Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chickpeas powder
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds

Instructions:

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl mix ground beef , chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, bread crumbs, minced garlic, BBQ sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, chickpeas powder,ground poppy seeds and lemon juice knead until just combined.
Shape into a loaf about 6-8 inches long and 3-4 inches wide with the help of a loaf pan, press it to form a proper loaf shape.
Place meatloaf in an Air fryer basket lining with parchment paper, leaving 1-2 inches of space around it.
Cook for 12-15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F or 71°C.
Brush with additional BBQ sauce during the last 2-3 minutes.
