SHAWARMA SAUCE MAKE WITH YOGURT :

The recipe of white shawarma sauce is the one best sauce  in recipes white sauces .This is  the best sauce to make delicious Shawarma, this shawarma sauce is so delicious for wraps and sandwiches, the taste of yoghourt by the addtion of lemon juice,flavour of garlic, tahini paste  spices and herbs make this sauce more delicious, and it helps to enhance the taste  shawarma  or roasted  meats.

RECIPE :

Red sauce 


Ingredients

1 cup yoghourt

2 freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 Tablespoons tahini paste

6 cloves garlic (mashed)

1 Tablespoons fresh dill (chopped)optional 

Or 

 1 tablespoon mint leaves (chopped optional)

Or 

1 tablespoon parsley (chopped )

Or 

1 tablespoon cilantro (chopped )

 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt (according to taste)

Instructions

In a bowl,add the yoghurt, whisk well then add mashed garlic, tahini paste, add the herbs and mix all ingredients together with the help of spatula. 

Pour the sauce in an airtight container. Put it in the refrigerator.

Tips

Use the sauce before 2 weeks.

Use fresh yoghourt, Stale yoghourt  becomes very sour and smells bad, which spoils the taste of the sauce 

Always add finely chopped herbs,or add the herbs when blend the sauce, be careful of the chunks of herbs remaining in sauce.

INGREDIENTS 


  • 4 tablespoon mayonnaise 
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder 
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Tahini sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar 
  • 3 tablespoons  extra-virgin olive oil 
  •  1table Parsley 
  • 1 teaspoon oregano 


DIRECTIONS :

Mix all ingredients and take it in a food processor, or blender jar, blend until you make a smooth sauce. 

Sprinkle red chilli flakes. 

Take sauce in an airtight container to preserve it.

INGREDIENTS :

  • 50g red chilli
  • 1 onion
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • ¼ cup vinegar
  • ½ cup of oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon  lemon juice 
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ tablespoon sugar

DIRECTIONS :

Mix the red chilli and vinegar.
Soak the whole red chilli for 4-5 hrs(overnight for best results )
In a food processor add all ingredients and blend to make a smooth paste.
Pour it into an airtight bottle.
